| Taste and aroma: | Strongly aromatic (muscat): orange blossom, peach, apricot, musk and spice notes; lively acidity. |
| Sugar content: | Accumulates high sugars; high alcohol potential. |
| Use: | Sweet sparkling wines (Asti, Moscato d'Asti), sweet/fortified wines and aromatic table grapes. |
| Resistances: | Susceptible to powdery mildew, grey rot (botrytis) and sour rot; good frost and drought resistance. |
